maryland is a democratic state, our votes were already decided before we got there. Anyway, I voted for the other guy, and against everything except slots.

It actually wasn't a vote for slots...you should have read it more clearly. It was a vote for some wonky lottery machines. I vote against most everything, except I voted for better trash disposal. I also voted for the constitution party as per usual.

This is exactly why I don't vote. The electoral system is bullshit.

:stupid: Who ever thought this was a good idea anyway? Every time it's all about OH/PA/FL. Every vote should count.

When 70% of the people who get arrested are black, in cities where 70% of the population is black, that is not racial profiling, it is the Law of Probability. Image Image

I need to pay more attention to the free stuff. I knew there was a reason I always ask for the I voted sticker.

True, but if you complain and you didn't even participate, you don't really have any legs to stand on. At least if you participate you have some legitimate excuse. Although really instead of complaining or instead of 'just' complaining I should say, people should go out and try to make a difference themselves. The reality is, people in small groups or individually can be brilliant, in large groups, we are like pack animals. There is no collective intelligence, only collective stupidity.

never underestimate the power of stupid people, especially in large numbers. rofl
The more people you take onto your task the more variables are introduces into the problem. Example it would be easy for 5 people to meet at a local place, however it would be a hell of alot more difficult for a group of 500 to meet at a local place. This is a example of communicaiton breakdown waiting to happen as a result of additional variables. :-D in lamins terms.. KISS Keep It Simple Stupid
