Steve McNair dies at 36 from multiple gunshots

Has anyone seen this yet? Apparently someone opened fire on him with a semi-automatic weapon. They found his body and that of his girlfriend lying in his apartment riddled with bullets.

He was fuckin' around with a (probably) crazy-ass bitch, while he's still married.
He (probably) told her it was over, he wasn't leaving the wife & 4 kids for her crazy ass.
She (more than likely) shot him 4 times, then herself, since the early reports are that she only had a single gunshot wound to the head.

Everybody makes dead celebs & sports people out to be pillars of the community, and maybe McNair did do more than most to help kids & blah blah blah. But that doesn't change the fact that he obviously made some shitty decisions, with regard to where his pecker was involved, and it more than likely got him killed.

That is a bit harsh. I don't disagree he made a poor choice, but hardly worthy of getting shot over.

Eh, in that case, I couldn't give two shits about some dipshit who was banging around while married. One less douchebag as far as I am concerned. Slappy's account sounds about right given the evidence.

I'm no necessarily saying McNair deserved to get shot, but so many sports figures put themselves into situations that are downright stupid and then when tragedy occurs, nobody points out the hypocrisy of labeling them "heroes." Sucks for his wife & kids though, that's a damned shame.

I don't recall any mention of him being a 'hero'. And I would think anyone getting shot in a situation like this is completely irregular. People cheat all the time, its not just sports stars. They don't deserve to die for cheating. Besides, it seems likely he was calling off the affair and the mistress shot him and then shot herself.
